We first flew to Marbella to see what awaited us on this beautiful, large hill with stunning sea views.

A charming house with lots of potential to combine materials and styles. Our client was looking to break away from the existing colonial style and bring more of the Mediterranean into it.

We decided to keep the shape of the pool and make it the unifying element of the environment.

By using tadelakt – an ancient Berber process – we were able to bring a touch of Arabic influence and homogenize the different spaces around. The living room, dining area/barbecue/fireplace area and access to the pool house.
